How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Support pupils in consolidating key literacy and numeracy skills
Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports learning
Assess pupil progress effectively and use data to inform teaching and targeted interventions
Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contribute positively to the wider school community and team culture

    About You

The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting pupils at a crucial stage in their development.

    You will:

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience is desirable)
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
Be confident in preparing pupils for KS1 SATs
Be organised, adaptable, and effective in behaviour management
Show dedication to supporting pupils both academically and pastorally
Be a proactive and collaborative member of staff

    What the School Offers

A supportive and approachable leadership team
A friendly and collaborative staff environment
Well-resourced classrooms and clear curriculum support
Opportunities for professional development and career progression
A nurturing and inclusive school ethos
Convenient transport links and on-site parking

    How to Apply
