Site Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major flood protection scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale infrastructure project delivering critical flood defence and water management works.

Site Agent Roles & Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day site operations across flood defence and associated civils works

* Leading site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

* Overseeing construction of flood protection measures including embankments, drainage, and structural elements

* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme and technical specifications

* Writing and reviewing RAMS and Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)

* Managing site documentation including permits, ITPs, and QA records

* Overseeing QA/QC processes and ensuring accurate completion of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

* Managing subcontractors to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and productivity

* Monitoring progress, preparing reports, and maintaining detailed site records

* Planning and coordinating logistics, resources, and sequencing of works

* Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Site Agent Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on flood defence, water, or heavy civils projects

* Strong experience delivering flood protection, drainage, or environmental schemes

* Ability to independently write RAMS and Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)

* Good understanding of QA/QC processes and site documentation

* Experience managing teams and subcontractors on complex infrastructure projects

* Valid CSCS card

* SMSTS (essential)
