£45-55k DOE (may stretch for the right person), hybrid working 3 days in the office, 25 days holidays, rising each year to a max of 30 and bank holidays, gym and barista coffee facilities, plus many more!
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of the day-to-day finances for the business including AP, AR, credit control, expenses, bank reconciliations, etc.
Production of monthly management accounts and monthly board pack, to include business performance overview, cash position, budget vs actuals, client and project profitability/key risks and forward-looking insights.
Cash flow management and short-term forecasting.
VAT returns, payroll coordination, and year-end processes.
Liaison with external accountants.
Ownership and optimisation of finance systems and the current board pack.
Driving process improvements, controls, and reporting discipline.
Ad-hoc work as needed.
Experience & Skills
5–10 years’ experience in finance
Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
Strong experience producing and presenting board packs
Solid understanding of accrual-based accounting
Advanced Excel skills (modelling and reporting)
Experience in SMEs or similar fast-paced environments preferred

Comfortable operating in a standalone finance role and being the ‘go-to’ person.
Hands-on and willing to get involved in all levels of work.
Confident communicator, able to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
