About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant HR Business Partner to join our People team on a fixed-term basis.
You’ll provide high-quality HR support to operational teams, working closely with HR Business Partners to deliver people initiatives, manage employee relations, and support day-to-day HR processes. This is a hands-on role with exposure to change, projects and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide practical, compliant HR advice to managers
Manage employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence)
Support recruitment and core HR processes
Use HR data to track trends and support reporting
Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
Contribute to people initiatives, change activity and service improvements
About You
Proven experience managing employee relations cases
Strong HR knowledge and employment law
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
Full UK driving licence
Appointment to the post will be subject to a satisfactory basic/enhanced check via the Disclosure and Barring Service
Salary description
£20.22 - £20.22 per hour
