How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description:

    My client is known for taking excellent care of their staff and it shows in the quality of the products they develop.

    My rapidly expanding client based in Farnham are looking for a hands-on Head of Production to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This role oversees the full production process, including fermentation and/or food production through to packaging/bottling.

    Ideal for candidates with leadership experience in food manufacturing, brewing, or fermentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead and manage daily production operations

    * Plan and schedule production to meet output and quality targets

    * Drive efficiency across labour, equipment, and materials

    * Lead, develop, and motivate production teams

    * Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and GMP standards

    * Troubleshoot issues and lead problem-solving on the shop floor

    * Monitor KPIs (output, waste, downtime, cost) and drive improvements

    * Work cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, and engineering

    Requirements

    * Proven production leadership experience in food, brewing/fermentation or manufacturing environments.

    * Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards

    * Hands-on leadership style in fast-paced manufacturing

    * Strong problem-solving and team management skills

    * Must drive due to location
