Assistant project manager  –  | Wigan | 6 months-possibility of permanent
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5pm | up to £45,000 DOE plus Car Allowance

KPI Recruiting are proud to be working with our long standing client who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team on permanent basis.

You will be…

  Interpret drawings, specifications, and work schedules to plan and deliver projects.

  Quantify materials, allocate labour, and manage subcontractors to ensure timely completion.

  Programme contracts using relevant project management software.

  Oversee site health and safety, including risk assessments and method statements.

  Estimate minor works and assess additional costs, supporting accurate project pricing.

  Supervise in-house and subcontracted labour across multiple sites.

  Ensure maintenance work is completed on schedule and to client standards.

  Liaise with clients and office teams to manage costs, margins, and project delivery.

  Collaborate with quantity surveyors to prepare valuations, invoices, and final accounts.

Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
Able to build and maintain relationships quickly.
Proficient in IT systems, including Excel and Word.
