Powder coating is a critical function within the business. The facility operates a medium-sized plant with a rise-and-fall conveyor system capable of processing components up to 2.7m in length, 1.45m in height, and 800mm in width.
The role of Powder Coat Specialist involves the application of a wide range of coatings, including Polyester, Epoxy, hybrid systems, and PPA571.
The role is intended to progress into a middle management position, with responsibility for coordinating workload, maintaining quality standards, and improving overall plant efficiency.
Key duties to begin with will include
* Preparing customised sample panels to customer specifications
* Troubleshooting technical and quality issue
* Ensuring production deadlines are consistently met.
Applicants should have prior experience in powder coating and be motivated to develop their skills into a more advanced and progressive role within the business.
The role of Powder Coater offers the following:
* 7:00am-3:00pm shift, with the potential to move to a double day shift pattern in the future
* The position is 37.5 hours per week
* Pay rate of £15.15 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of £30,245.
* Shift allowances will apply where relevant.
