We’re supporting a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their LEAP team.
What’s the role all about?
As a Production Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting manufacturing activities within a controlled production environment, ensuring products are assembled, processed and completed to the required quality standards.
This is a practical, hands-on role where attention to detail and consistency are key.
Shift pattern and pay
Late Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 12:00am
No Fridays – 3-day weekends every week
£16.50 per hour
+25% shift uplift
Key responsibilities
Carry out production and assembly activities in line with work instructions
Follow engineering drawings, SOPs and build processes
Ensure products meet quality and compliance standards
Carry out basic inspection and checks during production
Maintain accurate production records where required
Work closely with production, quality and engineering teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
What you’ll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Experience in a manufacturing, production or assembly environment
Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Good teamwork and communication skills
A reliable and proactive approach to work
Experience within regulated or precision manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
