How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marmon Lift Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation specialising in advanced lift communication and safety technology. This is a technical support and installation-focused role covering London and the South East, offering excellent long-term progression and the opportunity to work with innovative lift products.

    The Lift Engineer Role:

    As a Lift Engineer, you will play a key role in both technical support and on-site installation of specialist lift communication systems. You will work independently across customer sites, ensuring all equipment is installed, configured, and operating to the highest standards.

    *

    Provide technical support across a range of lift communication and safety products

    *

    Carry out installation of autodialler systems, GSM solutions, intercoms, and associated equipment

    *

    Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues both remotely and on-site

    *

    Assist customers with product configuration, setup, and operational training

    *

    Ensure all installations meet quality and compliance standards

    *

    Support customer enquiries with a professional and solutions-focused approach

    Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

    *

    Currently working as a Lift Engineer with strong service, repair, or installation experience

    *

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the UK lift industry

    *

    Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering

    *

    Strong fault-finding and analytical skills

    *

    Confident communicator, able to explain technical information clearly

    *

    Able to work independently and manage on-site responsibilities

    *

    Holds a full UK Driving Licence
