How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    New Product Introduction (NPI):

    * Turn concepts/requirements into manufacturable designs and assemblies.

    * Produce 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (e.g. SolidWorks or similar).

    * Use in‑house 3D printing/rapid prototyping to prove designs and assemblies.

    * Plan and run shop‑floor trials, capture results, and iterate.

    * Create BOMs, work instructions/SOPs and assembly documentation.

    * Handover stable processes to production and support operator training.

    *

    Process & Method Improvement:

    * Review and improve existing assembly and manufacturing methods.

    * Work with maintenance/toolroom on jigs, fixtures, brackets and tooling.

    * Tweak layouts and methods to reduce waste, bottlenecks and rework.

    * Support basic CI/problem solving on quality, uptime and productivity.

    *

    Cross‑Functional Working:

    * Work with production, maintenance, quality and supply chain to solve problems and embed changes.

    * Maintain clear, controlled documentation (drawings, SOPs, settings).

    Candidate Profile

    Essential:

    * Experience in a manufacturing factory (making physical product).

    * 1–5 years in Production / Manufacturing / NPI / Product Engineering or similar.

    * Confident on the shop floor and hands‑on in solving problems.

    * 3D CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks or similar).

    * Able to write clear work instructions and basic reports; basic Excel.

    Desirable:

    * Exposure to plastics/injection moulding or other process industries.

    * Experience in an SME (fast decisions, practical environment).

    * Experience using 3D printing/rapid prototyping.

    Personal:

    * Practical, hands‑on and curious.

    * Fixes problems rather than just reporting them.

    * Organised, able to juggle several small projects.

    * Down‑to‑earth, works well with operators, engineers and managers
