Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Leeds

V7 Recruitment are seeking a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a flagship project based in Leeds.

Rate: Negotiable

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: September 2026 (with a possible extension to December 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the project during the PCSA stage

Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

Pricing work packages across the project

Working closely with the Commercial Lead on contract matters
Ideal Candidate 
Will have extensive experience working on projects during the PCSA stage

Proven background working on large-scale construction projects

Strong understanding of commercial management and cost control

Experience with package pricing, procurement, and contract administration

Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities

Confident working closely with senior stakeholders and commercial leads

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Able to work independently in a freelance capacity and add value from day one
