How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Manager | £55,000+ | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish | Training & Development

    A Quality Manager opportunity has arisen within a growing UK manufacturing business supplying into demanding, performance-critical sectors. Operating from a well-invested facility in the West Midlands, the company combines automated and manual processes and is continuing to expand its customer base globally. This position would suit a hands-on Quality professional ready to take full ownership of site performance, or an established Quality Manager seeking a broader, more influential role within a fast-paced environment.

    Quality Manager responsibilities include -

    Leading site-wide quality performance, embedding right-first-time principles.
    Managing internal, external and supplier audits, ensuring ongoing compliance to ISO 9001.
    Supporting APQP activities including PPAP submissions, FMEA and control plans.
    Owning customer concerns, NCRs, driving robust 8D and root cause investigations.
    Developing supplier quality performance through SQA activity and CI initiatives.
    Driving KPI performance, reporting trends and leading cross-functional improvement activity.Quality Manager desirable skills and experience -

    Proven background in a senior Quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
    Experience within automotive, aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries.
    Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, SPC and structured problem solving.
    Confident leading audits, customer interaction and supplier development activity.Quality Manager position benefits include -
