As a Customer Solution Design Practitioner, you'll shape secure, nonperformance technology solutions for customers across critical national services and large enterprise networks. Working closely with design teams, engineers and stakeholders, you'll deliver robust, scalable solutions that support complex transformation programmes.
What You Will Be Doing
Designing technical components that meet agreed time, cost and quality standards.
Producing design packages for transitions, transformations and in‑life improvements.
Collaborating with solution designers, architects and technical specialists.
Managing technical and commercial risks and resolving issues proactively.
Presenting solution options, explaining design decisions and business benefits.
Identifying opportunities for service improvement or solution optimisation.
Supporting innovation and contributing to design best practice.
Leading mid‑scale design engagements and mentoring junior team members.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in technical design, network solutions, or solution delivery roles.
Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure or multidirectional environments.
Ability to produce multicomponent designs within structured governance frameworks.
Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of lifecycle cost considerations.
Knowledge of SLAs, customer requirements and operational impacts of design choices.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently when required.
Motivated to develop deeper technical expertise and maintain relevant qualifications.
