How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Power Platform Developer

    Location: West Midlands / Hybrid
    Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

We are partnering with a well-established organisation that is investing significantly in digital transformation and business process improvement. They are seeking a Power Platform Developer to play a pivotal role in this exciting journey.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that truly values technology and offers the autonomy to develop solutions that have a tangible impact across operations, reporting, workflow automation, and user experience.

You will not be working within a rigid legacy environment. Instead, this role is ideal for someone who takes pleasure in building scalable low-code solutions, enhancing business processes, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to convert operational challenges into elegant digital tools.

The successful candidate will lead the design and development of solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, driving automation, efficiency, and smarter decision-making across the wider business.

    Key Responsibilities

Design and develop applications using Power Apps
Build intelligent workflow automation with Power Automate
Create reporting and visualisation solutions within Power BI
Collaborate with operational and business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
Translate manual processes into automated digital workflows
Support wider data and systems integration projects
Enhance governance, scalability, and best practises across the Power Platform estate
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

    Person Specification

Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
Proven experience building end-to-end business solutions
Good understanding of Power BI and reporting workflows
Experience integrating with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, SQL, Dynamics, or Azure
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Commercially minded with a passion for solving business challenges

This role presents an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual seeking to shape how technology is utilised within a forward-thinking business.

If you are keen to make a real difference through technology and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you
