About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading facilities and engineering services provider, is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile team in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long‑term, stable position
The role covers Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Swansea and the Valleys (up to Brecon), supporting a portfolio of commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs across a range of air conditioning systems.
What’s on Offer

£44,000 basic salary
*
Excellent overtime structure:
*
Weekdays: Time & a half until midnight, double time from midnight–6am
*
Weekends:
*
Saturday: Time & a half (AM), double time (PM)
*
Sunday: Double time all day
*
Call‑out rota: 1 in 10 weeks, £150 per week
*
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm — no early starts
*
Company van, PDA & laptop provided
*
Long‑term, secure role with a respected employer
Key Responsibilities
*
Service, maintenance and repair of AC systems including splits, VRV/VRF, AHUs and FCUs
*
Fault diagnosis and effective repair work
*
Completion of PPM tasks across multiple commercial sites
*
Ensuring compliance with F‑Gas and industry standards
*
Accurate record‑keeping via PDA/laptop
*
Delivering a professional service while working independently
Candidate Requirements
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
*
F‑Gas 2079 qualification
*
Strong technical and fault‑finding skills
*
Comfortable working in a mobile role across South Wales
