V7 are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing national Fire Alarm company at a few key sites across Luton, Bedford & North London. Stable, long-term position based on a single site (no travelling)Role & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm and associated life safety systems such as Emergency Lighting
Perform fault-finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
Complete testing to BS5839 standards
Work closely with site facilities and security teams
Maintain accurate records, service reports and certification
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
Provide technical support and advice to site personnelExperience Required:
Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems (site-based or mobile)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good understanding of BS5839
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Excellent communication and customer-facing skillsQualifications:
FIA units preferred but not essential
Electrical or Fire Alarm qualifications beneficial
Full right to work in the UKWorking Hours:
