We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linen and clothing items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Details:
An experienced laundry assistant is required to cover our client location at Crawley RH10. This will start as a temporary role with a zero-hour contract.
We require all candidates to be mandatorily available for 5 days for full-timers and 2 days for part-timers.
Duties
* Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all laundry areas
* Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
* Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.
