How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A rapidly growing, private equity backed manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Head of Regional Operations to lead multi‑site performance, integrate newly acquired facilities, and deliver world‑class operational standards within a regulated precision engineering environment.

    Client Details

A dynamic, high‑growth manufacturing group operating within the precision engineering, aerospace, and defence supply chain is looking to appoint a Head of Regional Operations to lead the integration, optimisation, and performance of multiple UK sites.

    Description

    What You'll Be Doing

Multi‑site leadership: Standardise processes, drive performance, and embed best practice across newly acquired sites.
Integration & change: Align ERP, quality standards (AS9100), reporting, and culture across the group.
Performance delivery: Support site leaders to boost productivity, revenue, and EBITDA.
Supply chain: Strengthen material flow, procurement efficiency, and overall supply chain resilience.
Culture & transformation: Help transition sites from family‑run operations to a PE‑backed structure while maintaining autonomy and values.
Compliance: Ensure high standards in quality, safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance across aerospace/defence manufacturing.

    Profile

Experience in precision engineering, high‑tolerance machining, or advanced manufacturing, with a background leading multi‑site operations.
Strong capability in Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement, with a proven track record of improving operational performance.
Confident communicator able to engage effectively from shop‑floor teams to senior leadership.
Solid people management experience, able to recruit, develop and elevate performance across different sites.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing or influencing P&L, understanding the link between operational decisions and financial outcomes.
Ideally brings exposure to aerospace/defence, M&A integration, or private‑equity‑backed growth environments.
Operates as a change agent, humble, credible, and able to guide teams through significant transition.
Hands‑on "player/manager" style, comfortable balancing strategic direction with practical delivery.
High integrity, data‑driven mindset, and strong emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflict constructively.

Excellent package including a strong base salary, bonus and equity opportunity.

High‑growth trajectory with the opportunity to shape a rapidly expanding organisation
