The Primary School believe that all their pupils need to feel loved, cared for and supported in order to thrive in their learning and they deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of all their learners. They place a strong emphasis on developing their pupils social, emotional and moral skills and provide them with opportunities to learn about these skills through the curriculum and extracurricular activities.
The Primary School are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part time or full time basis to support in thei classroom. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all the children are getting involved with the classroom activities whilst supporting those that may require additional help on a one to one basis. You will need to be flexible around the times of 08:30am – 15:30pm and hold a can do, positive attitude when in the role.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
TA qualification or at least 6 months experience working within a classroom setting
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A good ability to create valued relationships with pupils
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Welsh speaking preferred ( not essential)
