Cotteswold Dairy is looking for a Delivery Driver & Loader to join the team at the Hereford depot.
This role involves working both at the depot and on the road, ensuring vehicles are correctly loaded and deliveries are completed on time and in full, while maintaining safety and legal compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and operate in line with legislative requirements
* Load delivery vehicles according to customer orders
* Ensure loads are secured and safe for travel
* Deliver products to customers at agreed times and locations
* Collect empties from customer locations
* Liaise with loaders to ensure correct orders are dispatched
* Maintain accurate customer and delivery records
* Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults or issues
* Represent the company and build customer relationships
Skills & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
* Good time keeping skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Positive attitude and motivation
Hours
37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday)
Salary description
£12.71 - £13.63 per hour
