How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to play a hands‑on role supporting the full employee lifecycle within a fast‑paced, professional environment.     Description

    You will be responsible for:

    Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle
    Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records within the HR system
    Coordinate onboarding activities including contracts, documentation, and inductions
    Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, policy updates, and staff file changes
    Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from employees and managers
    Support recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and candidate coordination
    Manage leaver processes, ensuring all exit documentation is completed accurately and on time
    Assist with employee relations activity by preparing documentation for probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance reviews
    Collate and submit payroll changes and support the administration of employee benefits
    Support HR reporting, data accuracy, audits, and regulatory or compliance requirements
    Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as policy reviews, wellbeing programmes, and process improvements
    Ensure all HR activity complies with UK employment law, GDPR, and internal standardsProfile

    What You'll Need to Be Successful:

    Proven experience in an HR Administrator or HR support role, with exposure across the employee lifecycle
    A good working knowledge of UK employment law fundamentals, GDPR, and HR best practice
    Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on data accuracy
    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    Strong communication skills and the confidence to respond to employee and manager queries professionally
    High attention to detail, particularly when handling contracts, employee records, and sensitive information
    A proactive, self‑starting approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    A flexible and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
    CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageousJob Offer
