Overview:
Work on flight-critical aerospace hardware where failure isn’t an option — and where you’re trusted to solve the problems that matter. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for an engineer with strong hydraulics experience who wants to take responsibility for complex production challenges, not just escalate them.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of complex production and test failures from initial issue through to root cause and resolution
* Act as the technical authority for mechanical and hydraulic system issues
* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) as products transition into production
* Drive improvements in reliability, manufacturability, and process capability
* Investigate in-service and returned hardware to identify systemic failures
* Develop and refine assembly and test processes, tooling, and methods
* Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
* Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on hydraulics experience (essential)
* Experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or production environments
* Proven ability to solve complex, real-world engineering problems
* Experience supporting NPI or full product lifecycle activities
* Ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution
