How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Classic Car Consignment Specialist
    £30,000 Basic | OTE £60,000+ (Uncapped) | Hybrid/Remote

    A unique opportunity has arisen to join a growing specialist business within the classic car space, focused on helping owners sell their vehicles through a modern, auction-led platform.

    This is not a traditional sales role. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, developing relationships within the classic car community, and sourcing vehicles for consignment.

    If you have a genuine passion for classic cars and enjoy the commercial side of the industry, this role offers the chance to turn that interest into a highly rewarding career.

    The Role

    * Proactively source classic vehicles for sale via a specialist auction platform

    * Build and maintain relationships with private owners, collectors, and enthusiasts

    * Manage the full consignment process from initial enquiry through to sale

    * Provide guidance to sellers on pricing, presentation, and market positioning

    * Represent the business within the classic car community (events, networks, referrals)

    * Generate the majority of your own opportunities (approx. 90%)

    About You

    * A genuine interest in classic cars is essential (enthusiast level or above)

    * Previous experience in sales, automotive, or a relationship-driven environment

    * Comfortable generating your own leads and working autonomously

    * Strong communication skills with a consultative approach

    * Self-motivated, organised, and commercially aware
