We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead technically complex, high value projects for one of our Defence manufacturers.
Acting as a primary technical contact, you’ll define manufacturing methods, drive best practice, and ensure delivery on time, right first time, and within cost. You’ll liaise across engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver precision-engineered solutions in a highly regulated environment, while continuously improving processes and performance.

Job Description
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver precision-engineered solutions
Utilise strong CAD/CAM knowledge to support CNC machining processes, including programming, tooling selection, and optimisation of tool paths.
Establish and define methods of manufacture for complex components, creating and transferring effective manufacturing routings into production
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Familiar working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC Machining techniques
Experience using CAD/CAM software to support manufacturing processes and CNC programming.
Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, process optimisation, and quality standards.
Prior experience managing technical projects from concept to delivery
