How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Workshop Team Leader

    Basingstoke

    Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

    £40,000 - £43,000 Starting Salary

    Workshop Team Leader role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This role is at the company's head office which has an impressive workshop, onsite training facility and is very well organised.

    To apply for the role candidates need to have a mechanical background, ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent and confident leading a small workshop. Training on the fleet of forklifts will be provided. Candidates from motor vehicle, any plant or aligned industries will be suited.

    You will oversee the day to day running of the workshop, being the first point of contact for the engineers. This includes a team of 10-12 of workshop engineers ensuing all work is completed on time, parts ordered and all H&S adhered too.

    This is an ideal role for those seeking a very reputable manufacturer within a modern and organised workshop.

    The Workshop Team Leader Role:
    • Manage the day to day activities of the workshop
    • Oversee H&S
    • Assist engineers with workflow
    • Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
