We are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Islington. This opportunity is available for an immediate start after Easter or from September, depending on your availability.
This is a fantastic role for a motivated educator who is passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring science lessons. The school is open to candidates with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Teach your subject specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at GCSE level
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum standards
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress
* Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
* Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
