We’re Hiring: Roofer (Maintenance)
📍 Leicester and Surrounding Areas (Peterborough to Northamptonshire)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our client’s team, maintaining and repairing social housing properties. This is a permanent role offering excellent career prospects and a supportive work environment, covering a wide patch across Leicester, Peterborough, and Northamptonshire.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Carrying out reactive maintenance on various roof types, including slate, tile, and flat/torch-on roofs
✔️ Repairing and renewing guttering, roofing sections, and other general roof maintenance
✔️ Working safely on scaffolds, including scaffold inspections
✔️ Diagnosing faults and reporting additional works to supervisors or line managers
✔️ Ensuring all work is completed to high standards with minimal supervision
✔️ Maintaining accurate records and leaving residents assured

👷 What we’re looking for:
• PASMA trained and experience in scaffold inspections (training provided if needed)
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and working at height
• Certificate or NVQ in Roofing, or equivalent experience
• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points) with no recent bans
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check

• Experience in responsive repairs
• Experience working within social housing
