The Role
You will be working as part of a rapid response maintenance team, attending a variety of social housing properties to carry out urgent and reactive repairs. The work will involve travelling between sites, responding to maintenance issues efficiently, and ensuring a high standard of workmanship at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out emergency and reactive maintenance across residential properties
* Complete carpentry works alongside general multi-trade tasks
* Attend call-outs and resolve issues promptly, aiming for first-time fixes
* Work on a variety of repairs including doors, locks, windows, and internal fittings
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
* Deliver a professional and customer-focused service to residents
Essential Requirements
* Strong background in carpentry with multi-trade experience
* Previous experience working within social housing environments
* Knowledge and hands-on experience with locksmithing and UPVC systems
* Experience working on or repairing fire doors in line with safety standards
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, reactive maintenance setting
* Full UK driving licence
Additional Information
* This is an urgent requirement, and candidates must be available to start at short notice
* Work will be based across the Birmingham region, with travel between properties required
