About the Role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in their learning and development, working closely with class teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
Provide additional support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where required.
Help to prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management.
Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable).
A caring, patient, and supportive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
A basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
