Hgv Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Eastleigh area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time).

Hours:

* Trunk - Days, afternoons or nights.

Pay Rate:

* Trunk - £17.75 per hour PAYE rising to £18.25 per hour from 10pm-6am

Location: Eastleigh, SO53

Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing.

The role:

* Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the Coventry or Ryton hub.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* 6 months minimum experience required

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
