How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
    Location: Sheffield

    Salary: Up to £35k Base + Benefits

    About the role

    A specialist engineering and manufacturing business serving high-performance industries such as aerospace, heat treatment and advanced materials is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help drive market visibility and lead generation.

    This role sits within the commercial team and works closely with sales and business development to ensure marketing activity directly supports pipeline growth and customer engagement.

    We're looking for someone who can combine structured thinking, strong communication and digital marketing skills to help turn marketing activity into real commercial results.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns aligned to key sectors and strategic accounts
    Manage digital presence including LinkedIn and website activity
    Create high-quality marketing content including case studies, technical articles and sales materials
    Support the sales team with presentations, brochures and customer-facing content
    Coordinate exhibitions and industry events, ensuring effective pre and post-event follow-up

    Key Experience

    Strong communication and organisational skills
    Experience managing LinkedIn, website content or digital marketing activity
    Ability to work closely with sales and commercial teams
    Proactive and self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
