How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Female Support Worker - Walton on Thames

    £25,845 per annum (pro rata)

    Full Time Hours only(39 hours per week)

    Full UK Driving License essential - Be willing to drive service vehicles so the service users are able to access the community.

    This service has 6 individuals all who have different needs including learning disabilities along with Asperger's, Autism, Epilepsy and Mental Health conditions. This is a service where there are behaviors that challenge but training is provided, and you also will provide support to all individuals via shared support and on a 1 to 1 basis. The service users have various activities that they attend with staff support, these include Snoozelum, Nova Club, in house arts & crafts and cookery sessions, aromatherapy as well as house trips and holidays.

    No two days are the same, but your day might look like this!  

    Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.

    Supporting our people with social activities and connecting with family and friends. 

    Supporting the management of our people’s finances.

    Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
