How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As Internal Logistics Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimising internal logistics processes within our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Leader, this position focuses on ensuring efficient material flow, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support productivity and quality.

    Salary is DOE but an excellent package - Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

    Main responsibilities will include:

    * Overseeing the movement of materials within the facility to ensure accurate and timely delivery to production lines.

    * Leading and participating in continuous improvement projects to identify and address inefficiencies.

    * Implementing and managing Mizusumashi (water spider) systems to streamline material handling and support just-in-time production.

    * Analysing internal logistics processes and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

    * Monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and minimise excess.

    * Collaborating with production, quality, and supply chain teams to align logistics activities with broader business goals.

    * Using data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.

    * Training and mentoring team members on best practices in logistics and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    * A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    * Proven experience in internal logistics or a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical device manufacturing.

    * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Kaizen and Lean principles, ideally with relevant certifications like Lean Six Sigma.

    * Experience implementing Mizusumashi systems.

    * Strong analytical skills and proficiency in performance measurement and logistics tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management software.

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
