Munnelly Support Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee a construction project in Faversham. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work through to September 2026.
The successful candidate will benefit from a full handover from the current Logistics Manager, ensuring a smooth transition onto the project.
Please note: Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Faversham, Kent.
Job Description
As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site logistics operations, ensuring the smooth coordination of labour, materials, and site access on a live construction project.
You will play a key role in maintaining health & safety standards, coordinating deliveries, and supporting the overall efficiency of site operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Oversee all site logistics operations on a construction project
* Manage traffic management plans and vehicle movements
* Coordinate deliveries, collections, and site access
* Supervise and manage logistics operatives and traffic marshals
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
* Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Maintain site organisation, cleanliness, and safety standards
* Monitor and control material flow and storage on site
* Conduct briefings and ensure all logistics staff are working efficiently
* Support the site team in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* Black CSCS Card (Gold CSCS minimum accepted)
* First Aid at Work Certificate
* Proven experience working as a Logistics Manager on construction projects
* Strong understanding of site logistics, traffic management, and health & safety
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to manage a team and work under pressure
* Must be reliable and able to commute to Faversham, Kent daily
