Role Conditions

* Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 – 12:30

* Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data and to the order requirements

* Carry out maintenance tasks including, window polishing, grinding/fettling, paint stripping, shot peening, removal and/or installation of bearing cups

* Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE

* Driving company van

* Receipt inspections of customer jobs

* Assisting dispatch, wrapping and packaging of customer jobs

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience within the aerospace industry

* Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings

* Ability to manage own time to work efficiently and to deadlines

* Right to work in the UK
