How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with a background in healthcare or social care to join the team. This role will work closely with operational leaders to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused HR support, with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping managers navigate complex people matters while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Partner with operational leaders to support workforce planning and people strategy

    * Provide expert advice on complex Employee Relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues

    * Support managers to handle casework confidently, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes

    * Interpret and apply employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice guidance

    * Contribute to organisational change initiatives, including restructures and TUPE processes where required

    * Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives

    * Use HR data and insight to identify trends and support continuous improvement

    * Promote positive employee engagement and a supportive workplace culture

    About You

    * Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR advisory role, ideally within healthcare, social care, or another regulated environment

    * Strong background in Employee Relations, with the ability to manage complex ER cases independently

    * Experience within the healthcare, social care, or a similarly regulated sector (highly desirable)

    * CIPD Level 5 qualification (preferred), or equivalent demonstrable experience

    * Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

    * Confident working with senior leaders and operational teams

    * Pragmatic, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
