How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Cardiff
Duation of Contract – 9 Months

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of internal packages—specifically drywall systems and ceilings—on a major new-build educational project in Cardiff.

    About the Opportunity

You will be working for a specialist contractor delivering internal construction solutions across a range of sectors including education, residential, and commercial developments. Projects typically involve high-quality finishes, modern construction methods, and close collaboration with leading main contractors. The business prides itself on delivering consistent standards, safe working practices, and reliable project outcomes.

This is a key role overseeing the planning, coordination, and successful execution of internal fit-out elements, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved.

    The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for managing the internal works package from pre-construction through to completion. This includes drywall, partitioning, and ceiling installations across a large-scale education scheme.

You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the main contractor to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with project objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of drywall and ceiling installations on site
Oversee programme delivery, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Monitor quality standards, ensuring a high level of finish throughout
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Attend and lead progress meetings with stakeholders
Identify and resolve technical or delivery challenges proactively
Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, and risks

    About You

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager within the construction industry
Strong background in drylining, partitioning, and suspended ceiling systems
Experience delivering projects within education, commercial, or similar sectors
    Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and internal fit-out processes
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance on site
SMSTS, CSCS and 1st Aider certification required

    What’s on Offer

Opportunity to deliver a high-profile education project
9-month contract with mid-May start date
    Competitive day rate
    Supportive and professional working environment
