Position Description:
The position is responsible for the engineering integration process for vehicle architectures.
Responsibilities include:
* Design and develop the vehicle technical specifications and attributes across vehicle architectures
* Lead and resolve complex multifunctional engineering problems. Be able to balance competing attributes and requirements to define the optimum engineering solution.
* Analysis of current and future technologies and competitor products to ensure the future competitiveness of our client’s products by influencing their strategies
* Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals.
* Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Skills
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross-functional vehicle systems
* Enthusiasm for vehicles and their development
* Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical information
* Good IT literacy eg. ability to create and manage presentations and spreadsheets
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Previous experience of whole vehicle development and validation
* Previous experience of problem solving tools, eg. Six sigma methods
* Previous experience of leading technical issue resolution

Hybrid working: In the office as a Team on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus others as and when required/agreed. A typical working week would be >50% in the office including all day Tuesdays and Thursdays.
