How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Branch Manager – Industrial Recruitment

    Location: Rugby
    Sector: Industrial, Commercial, Logistics and Technical Recruitment
    Basic salary up to £40K+ commision + car allowance

    Are you an experienced recruitment leader ready to take full ownership of a high-performing branch? We’re looking for a driven and commercially astute Branch Manager to lead, develop, and grow our industrial recruitment division.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in industrial or blue-collar recruitment who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to build, motivate, and retain successful teams.

    The Role

    As Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, combining strategic leadership with hands-on recruitment expertise. You will:

    Lead and manage a team of recruitment consultants and support staff

    Drive business development activity to win new industrial clients

    Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts

    Ensure delivery targets and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded

    Oversee high-volume temporary and permanent placements

    Monitor branch P&L, budgets, and profitability

    Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations

    Coach, mentor, and develop your team to maximise performance

    About You

    We’re looking for someone who brings both leadership and billing experience:

    Proven experience within industrial recruitment (essential)

    Previous leadership or management experience within a recruitment environment

    Strong track record in business development and client growth

    Commercially minded with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability

    Passionate about team development and creating a high-performance culture

    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

    Resilient, target-driven, and highly organised
