Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.
YOU MUST HOLD A LEVEL 2 OR 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE / EARLY YEARS OR EQUIVILANT FOR THIS ROLE.
Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £26,800 - £30,500 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and education to all the children.
* Plan and implement engaging activities to support early years development.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
* Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and EYFS guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
* Experience working in a childcare setting.
* Paediatric First Aid certification.
* Understanding of child-led learning approaches.
