Location: Barking & Dagenham
Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required
Council van + fuel card providedAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plasterer with Multi‑Trade skills to join the BD Group's Repairs & Maintenance team. You will work across tenanted and void properties, carrying out high‑quality plastering and associated repair works while ensuring a first‑time fix wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plastering repairs including skimming, boarding, patch repairs and rendering.
Support wider multi‑trade activities including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, or maintenance tasks.
Respond to emergency repairs across residential properties.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring minimal disruption.
Maintain accurate job records using PDA/job management systems.
Ensure all work meets health and safety and housing compliance standards.What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Plasterer in domestic or social housing settings.
Knowledge of additional trades (multi‑trade).
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality repairs.Benefits
