This is a highly rewarding opportunity to join a specialist SEMH school as a Mental Health Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional emotional and behavioural support to succeed in education.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with students who may present with anxiety, trauma-related needs, behavioural challenges, and barriers to learning. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment, where every student is supported to develop resilience, confidence, and positive coping strategies.
Working as a Mental Health Assistant is varied, fast-paced, and incredibly meaningful. You may be helping a student regulate their emotions, supporting them through a challenging moment, or encouraging engagement in learning.
