We’re on the lookout for a positive, hands-on Trade Counter Assistant to join our branch. If you enjoy solving problems, chatting with customers, and keeping things organized, this could be your perfect next move.
Trade Counter Assistant, What You'll Be Doing:

Being the friendly face at the trade counter — answering questions, taking orders, and making customers feel right at home.
*
Inputting orders quickly and accurately to keep things moving fast.
*
Helping sort out customer queries (and maybe even making their day in the process).
*
Lending a hand with picking, packing, and loading goods in the warehouse.
*
Occasionally heading out on multi-drop deliveries.
*
Pitching in during our annual stock take.
Trade Counter Assistant What, We’re Looking For:
*
Someone who’s great with people and enjoys working in a team.
*
Experience in a trade merchant role is very desirable, such as Jewsons, B&Q, Howdens, Screwfix and Travis Perkins.
*
Previous experience in a similar role? Brilliant. If not, we’ll teach you what you need to know.
*
Forklift licence? Handy but not a dealbreaker — we’ll provide training if needed.
*
Comfortable using a computer (you don’t need to be a tech whiz).
*
A full UK driving licence (a must!).
