Excelerate is a leading provider of advanced technology and communications solutions for emergency services, government agencies, and critical sectors. We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Installation Engineer to join our growing team.
The Role
You'll install and commission communication, network, and AV systems in vehicles and buildings. This includes:
* Running and terminating cabling (network, coax, AV, data)
* Installing server rack and IT equipment
* Setting up software and basic computer networks
* Testing systems, training users, and supporting delivery from start to finish
You’ll Need
* First fix cabling experience (network, AV, etc.)
* IT/networking knowledge and hands-on tool skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills
* Willingness to travel with overnight stays (UK & occasional overseas)
* Willingness to work at height using access equipment
