How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Frankphil Childcare Ltd is seeking a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to join our growing pre‑school and out‑of‑school club in Romford (RM3 8AH). This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is committed to delivering high‑quality early education and creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Our pre‑school operates from a welcoming church hall and provides early education for children aged 2–4, alongside wraparound care for children up to 11. We pride ourselves on offering a child‑centred, stimulating environment that supports every child’s learning and development through play, exploration, and positive relationships. As our provision continues to grow, we are looking for a practitioner who shares our values and can contribute to a strong, supportive team.

You will work closely with the Setting Manager and wider team to ensure the environment is safe, positive, and enriching for all children.
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and passionate about early years education. You will be a key person for a small group of children, helping them feel secure, confident, and ready to learn. You will also build positive relationships with families and contribute to the smooth daily running of the setting.

    • Deliver high‑quality, engaging activities in line with the EYFS
    • Support children’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
    • Build warm, positive relationships with children and families
    • Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning
    • Maintain strong safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards
    • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
    • Help create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment
    • Support children with routines, transitions, and independence skills
    • Promote positive behaviour and model respectful interactions

    ⭐ Requirements
    • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
    • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
    • Experience working in a nursery, pre‑school, or early years setting
    • A warm, caring, and professional approach
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
    • Reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early years
    • Ability to work effectively within a small, supportive team

    ⭐ Salary & Benefits
Salary: £25,000–£27,000 (equivalent to £12–£13 per hour)
Benefits: Paid DBS • Funded training • CPD • Supportive team • Progression opportunities
We offer a positive working environment where staff wellbeing, professional development, and teamwork are valued. You will have access to ongoing training, opportunities to develop your skills, and the chance to progress as the organisation grows.
