Process Operator/ Bury St Edmunds / Permanent- salary up to 36,160K per annum
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Panama Shift Days and Nights - 12 hrs shift, 42 hours per week
Position 1 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Process Operator to join a busy process shift production team.

The Role
The successful candidate will be a fully trained Process Operator capable of operating press and blending processes within the mill. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of production tasks, performing first-level fault finding and rectification on production plant equipment, and supporting your Shift Team as required to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate blend and press plants to support and achieve manufacturing output targets
* Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards at optimum levels
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with safe working practices and site procedures
* Use plant and equipment efficiently to maximise resource utilisation
* Complete accurate data entry and transfers for OEE, SAP, and other production records
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, following 5S principles
* Carry out routine plant maintenance to ensure smooth and reliable operation
About You
* Previous experience in the industry or similar production/manufacturing environment
* Team Player, Can do attitude, Self-Motivated
* Good communicator, ability to communicate at different levels
* Some knowledge of plant processes
* Good problem solving skills
