Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: £493.63 per day PAYE exclusive / £670 per day Umbrella
About the Role:
Deliver the implementation of a site-wide alarm management framework across high-hazard laboratory environments, ensuring compliance with EEMUA 191 and relevant safety regulations.
You will translate policy into practical, facility-specific alarm strategies, enabling safe, compliant, and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Adapt and implement the site-wide alarm philosophy in line with EEMUA 191
Produce detailed, facility-specific alarm management documentation
Configure and optimise alarm systems across multiple platforms
Lead stakeholder engagement across technical and operational teams
Design and deliver a lab-wide implementation and capability uplift plan
Upskill internal personnel to ensure sustainable alarm management practices
Ensure compliance with DSEAR, HS&EP, and wider safety obligations
Essential skills and experience:
Proven background in industrial alarm systems and control environments
Hands-on experience applying EEMUA 191 principles
Experience implementing policy/process within complex or high-hazard environments
Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams
Demonstrated ability to lead delivery in ambiguous or evolving environments
Hands-on experience with one or more of:
Trend
Vista
Schneider Systems / EcoStruxure
Saulter Systems
Ability to:
Interpret and configure alarm systems
Optimise alarm performance
Maintain system integrity in complex environments
