The Role
As Project Engineer (M&E), you will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering projects from scope development through to completion, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing project scopes, engineering requirements, resource plans and delivery programmes
* Ensuring compliance with client, framework and statutory specifications
* Supporting and leading HAZOP, HAZCOM, FAT and SAT activities
* Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Maintaining and updating designer risk assessments
* Supporting defect resolution and project close-out activities
* Promoting strong safety performance and compliance with CDM Regulations
* Reviewing subcontractor performance, technical submissions and tender documentation
* Working collaboratively across engineering, project delivery and operational teams to minimise risk and support successful project execution
Candidate Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects
* Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and NEC Contracts
* Strong planning, organisational and decision-making capability
* Experience using MS Office and AutoCAD (Revit or Inventor beneficial)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A full UK driving licence (site travel required)
