How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant (SENTA)– Full Time | SEN Support | Immediate Start

    We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and highly committed SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)  to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school.

    This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced teacher with a strong passion for inclusion, SEND provision and whole school impact, who is ready to shape and develop high quality SEND support across the school.

    The Role:

    As SENCO, you will be responsible for leading and developing SEND provision across the school, ensuring high-quality support for pupils with additional needs.

    • Develop, implement and oversee the school’s SEND strategy and policy
    • Identify and assess pupils with SEN through a graduated (assess–plan–do–review) approach
    • Work closely with class teachers to ensure high-quality adaptive teaching and inclusion
    • Coordinate and review EHCPs and personalised learning plans
    • Lead interventions within and outside the classroom to support pupil progress
    • Liaise with parents, carers and external professionals (e.g. EPs, SALT, OT, CAMHS)
    • Monitor and track pupil progress using data, observations and assessment information
    • Provide advice, guidance and training to staff on SEND best practice
    • Chair and contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings
    • Support behaviour, wellbeing and access to learning for pupils with additional needs
    • Ensure SEND resources, interventions and provision are effectively deployed
    • Contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusion priorities

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Be an experienced teacher with strong knowledge of SEND across primary phases
    • Have previous experience in a SENCO, inclusion lead or similar role (desirable)
    • Hold (or be willing to complete) the NASENCO qualification / NPQ SENCO
    • Be passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
    • Have strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
    • Be confident working with staff, parents and external agencies
    • Be able to analyse data and use it to inform targeted interventions
    • Be resilient, proactive and solution-focused
    • Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
