The Role
This position combines installation, service and maintenance responsibilities, including:
Installation of automatic gates (domestic and commercial)
Electrical installation and fault finding
Attending call-outs for repairs and system issues
Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Assisting with on-site groundwork where required
You will take responsibility for the electrical aspects of installations, working closely alongside the mechanical team to deliver high-quality results.
Skills & Experience Required
We are seeking capable, motivated engineers who can work independently and take pride in their workmanship.
You may have experience in:
Gate automation or access control systems
Electromechanical systems
Electrical or mechanical engineering
Installation or field service engineering roles
You will also demonstrate:
A practical, hands-on approach
Logical and methodical problem-solving skills
Confidence working outdoors and on customer sites
The ability to work autonomously
Physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual tasks
Electrical qualifications such as the 18th Edition are advantageous but not essential.
Salary & Benefits
£depending on experience
Overtime available:
Saturday – Time and a Half
Sunday – Double Time
